Once home from the nightclub alone, Alex sighed heavily as he kicked off his shoes and headed upstairs. He couldn't help but feel a twinge of envy toward his stepsister, Jenna, whom he'd seen off at the door earlier. She looked amazing, and he knew she'd have no trouble finding someone to take her home.He heard the gentle hum of her television as he approached her room, but the sound faded as he gently turned the doorknob. There she was, sprawled out on her bed, a small smile playing at her lips as she watched something on her computer."Hey," he said, his voice a low rumble,"Looks like you had a good time."She turned her head towards him, a flicker of surprise in her eyes before she schooled her features into a neutral expression."Yeah, it was enjoyable."
